Château La Mascaronne Rosé 2024

92 points | James Suckling

“A juicy, vivid and attractive rosé with forest berries, anise and warm spices on the nose. Medium-bodied with fresh acidity. Silky and flavorful, with a succulent finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink now.” James Suckling

This Provençal Rosé captivates with its luminous bright pink in the glass. The Château La Mascaronne Rosé 2024 nose is vibrant, offering aromas of wild strawberries, white peach, and citrus zest, underscored by delicate floral and spicy notes. The palate is fresh and layered, where ripe fruit meets lively acidity and a distinct mineral character from the clay-limestone soils. Enjoy it now or cellar for future complexity.

“La Mascaronne offers ideal conditions for crafting an exceptional rosé wine. The scrupulous care with which our teams cultivate the vineyard has fostered a deep understanding of the specificities of each terroir and plot. Throughout the year, at every phase of the winemaking process, we stop at nothing to achieve our goal of producing wines that are uniquely expressive and balanced, wines with a soul. My goal is to make Château La Mascaronne Rosé one of Provence’s most outstanding wines, and a true expression of our unique terroir, using only grapes grown on the estate.”

MICHEL REYBIER (owner of Château La Mascaronne

An exceptional rosé, Château La Mascaronne Rosé 2024 reveals the essence of the terroir from which it is produced. The estate’s grapes and soils create this rosé’s outstanding quality. The Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Vermentino grapes, typical Provence varieties, are harvested at the height of ripeness.

When enjoyed young, Château La Mascaronne Rosé 2024 is delightful before or with a meal. But it is also marvellous after several years of aging, a more unusual feat for a rosé wine. Its brilliant pink colour instantly telegraphs its Provence origin, offering a visual preview of the wine’s rich, complex aromas of fresh, ripe fruit.

Grenache 35%, Cinsault 35%, Syrah 20%, and Vermentino 10%
