This is a beautifully made, opulent wine that has inviting aromas of blackberry, blueberry, violet along with a smoky, meaty quality. The richness follows through in the pallet with an incredible seamlessness showing balanced tannins and a lingering finish.

Philippe and Cherie Melka started their own label in 1996. Initially, the wines were produced externally using purchased grapes. In 2010, the couple decided to take the next step. A small, functional winery was built along the Silverado Trail north of St. Helena in the direction of Calistoga. The winery now houses its own wines, which were previously vinified and stored at BRAND and Vineyard 29.
