The Tua Rita Syrah Per Sempre 2020 offers juicy, full-bodied fruit with lots of blackberry, plum, sweet spice and campfire ash. Stefano Frascolla deliberately avoids any eucalyptus or camphor-like hints. Instead, he focuses on a powerful primary fruit. This is achieved through the ripeness of the fruit, the care of the vineyards and the use of oak. Syrah has a short harvest window, so timing is important. The vineyards are planted on marl soils with slate rock, typical of the mineral-rich hills around Suvereto.”
