Les Parcellaires de Saulx
A Modern Micro-Négoce Rooted in Tradition
Les Parcellaires de Saulx, based in a historic maison de vins in Meursault, is redefining Burgundy winemaking through its focus on single-vineyard wines. With roots dating back to 1908, the house operates from a stunning manor house with extensive cellars overlooking Puligny and Meursault.
In 2017, the estate was revitalized by American couple Denise Dupré and Mark Nunnelly, alongside their French partner Jean-Luc Vitoux, who share a passion for preserving tradition while pushing the boundaries of quality and sustainability in Burgundy winemaking.
This boutique operation is helmed by cellarmaster Isabelle Laurand, a Burgundian native with decades of experience and deep connections to Côte d’Or growers.
Sum of the Parts
Laurand selects wines from organic or biodynamic vineyards, choosing one wine per climat to highlight the nuances of each terroir. White wines begin as must, while red wines are purchased post-fermentation and carefully aged. Laurand minimizes new oak to let the purity of fruit and soil shine, resulting in elegant, terroir-driven wines.
The specificity of Les Parcellaires de Saulx is based on not blending any wines that come from different sources, so each wine comes only from a vineyard belonging to a single winegrower and very often comes only from one of their plots, to respect the authenticity of the terroir, the work of the winegrower and the diversity of the Burgundian Climats.
Currently producing around 25,000 bottles annually across 40 labels—from Bourgogne Blanc and Rouge to prestigious Premier and Grand Crus—Les Parcellaires plans to grow to 60,000 bottles while maintaining its artisanal approach. Signature offerings include Premier Crus like Chassagne-Montrachet Clos Saint-Jean and Gevrey-Chambertin Les Corbeaux, alongside Grand Crus
such as Clos de Vougeot and Charmes-Chambertin.
With a clear focus on quality, sustainability, and tradition, Les Parcellaires de Saulx is on a mission to become one of Burgundy’s leading micro-négoces, offering wines that are as expressive as the vineyards they come from.
